He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jennifer Cronk; his children, Chris Cronk (Leslie) and Marcia Johnson (Philip); and his grandchildren, Cody (Maddie), Bryce, Camille, Mark and Emma. He was also cherished by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in James' memory can be made to Disabled American Veterans- Chapter 20 or the Alzheimer's Association.
