He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Harry Elmer and Signe Elvera Johnson (Goldbrand). He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his son-in-law Inger Johnson Young (Bill Young); his son Christopher A. Johnson of Glendale, Arizona; and his grandchildren, Johnson Young (Emily), Margarete "Margo" Young, Chase Monte, William Gunnar Young and Emmett Young. He is also survived by his children, daughter.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home (4800 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Gordon A. Johnson to The Wounded Warrior Project or Tunnel to Towers.
