He is survived by: his sister Isabel Sernas; and his nieces and nephews, Annie Arrieta (Robert), Mary Lou Arrieta (Jesse), David Carrizoza (Veronica), Becky Galindo, Maria Ester Mendoza (Felipe) and Manuel Luis Redondo.
