She was predeceased by: her parents, Alejandro Arevalo and Isabel Arevalo; her husband Jose Carmen Guevara Sr.; her children, Elsa Villalva and Jose Guevara Jr.; and her siblings, Martha, Lorraine, Abelardo and Guillermo.

She is survived by: her children, Jesus Serrato, Isabel Maya, Frank Guevara, Virginia Vega, Rosemarie Amaro and Melissa Guevara. She is also survived by her 27 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, and 53 great-great-grandchildren.
