He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebastian Aldama and Petra Mireles; his wife Socorro; his daughter Sandra Chavez; and his sisters, Lucy Aldama and Andrea Aldama.
He is survived by: his siblings, Antonia Calderon (Paul), Sebastian Aldama Jr. (Stella), Virginia Gonzales, Linda Verdugo, Rose Salinas and Larry Aldama (Karen); his daughters, Gloria Gortarez, Elizabeth Lewis (Bud) and Lydia Grijalva-Aldama; his son-in-law Ruben F. Chavez; and his grandchildren, Steve, Christina, Paul Michael, Cecelia (Richard), Adriana, Monica (Tony), Ilene (Andrew), Fernando (Amalyne) and Adrian (Clarissa). He is also survived by 17 Great Grandchildren.
