He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Buskerud and Luella Buskerud (Pedersen); his brother Terry; his siblings-in-law, Veronica Buskerud and Jon Kayser; and his pets, Max and Delaney.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Elkins; his children, Pam Brockberg (Keith) of Yankton, SD, Greg Buskerud (Angie) of Rapid City, SD and Ann Redwood (Daniel Turnbow) of Rapid City, SD; his grandchildren, Patrick Harris (Lexi), Jackson Harris, Nicholas Harris (Tori), Garrison Brockberg, Avery Brockberg, Gracie Brockberg, Kyra Keimig, Devon Redwood and Danica Turnbow; his great grandchildren, Cash Loftus and Sawyer Harris; his sister Sharon Kayser; and his pets, Bogey and Cooper. He is also survived by six nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial donation to Make A Wish South Dakota or the Humane Society of the Black Hills.
