He was predeceased by: his wife Martha; his brother John (Marie); and his parents, Vincent and Michelina. He is survived by: his children, Louis (Elena), Thomas and Michael (Laurie); his brother Vincent (Diane); his grandchildren, Daniel, Alexa, Maria, Angela, Gina, Tara and Niko; his great grandchild Lincoln; his nephews, Mark and Nicholas; and his niece Margaret.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's memory to Hospice Buffalo.
