He was predeceased by: his parents, Durwood Sample and Irene Sample; and his wife Gale Gillespie. He is survived by: his children, Kevin (Kelli) of Gilbert, AZ and Jill James (Craig) of La Pine, OR; and his sister Bess Roush of Yuba City. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons.
