He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard W. Green and Alice M. Green (Grimes); and his sibling Thomas. He is survived by: his sister Ruth Rhoades; his wife Nancy Lou Rhoads; his children, Michael Green (Karen) of Tempe, AZ, Shawna Green of Payson, AZ, Barry Green (Karen) of Gilbert, AZ and Sharon Butler (Norman) of Mesa, AZ; and his grandchildren, Jason Green (DeeDee), Timothy Green, Aubreanna Covert (Daniel), Kirsten Hiemstra (Andrew), Lauren Butler and Brian Butler (Charlotte).

He fought a long, hard, 17-year battle with Myasthenia Graves and seven-year battle with Parkinson's disease.
