She was predeceased by: her parents, Santiago Rivera and Margarita Bracamonte Rivera; her daughter Sylvia Marie Guzman; and her siblings, Santiago Rivera, Margie Lagunas and Mary Jessie Blancarte.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rosalie Gallegos and Laura Romero; and her great grandchild Steven Joseph Quintana. She is also survived by her grandchildren: 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
