He was predeceased by: his son Mike Nevins; and his sister Verla Cueto. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Winnifred Nevins of Gilbert, Arizona; his daughters, Cindy Nelson (David) of Maple Grove and Robin Short (Mike) of Gilbert; his grandsons, Erik Nelson (Brandi), Jared Nelson, Justin Short (Emily) and Jeff Short (Meghan); his great grandchildren, Abigail Woods, Madeline Nelson, Leora Nelson, Jaxson Short, Wade Short and Lizzy Short; his sister Zoretta Lopez; his sister-in-law Patricia Baker; and his friends, Rod Hawman, Peggy Balise and Don Elkins. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
