She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Obbarius and Dorothy Obbarius (Ronald); and her son Ronald J Bastyr, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Randy (Debbie), Michael (Bonny), Mitchell and Richard (Wendy); and her daughter-in-law Laurel Bastyr. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 21-1/2 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donor's choice or the American Cancer Society.
