He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley and Udell; and his sister Darlene. He is survived by: his wife Retta; his children, Cindy Paulsen (Phil), Steve (Sandy Wilson) and Kenneth Kerns (Lynette); his grandchildren, Michael Paulsen, Melissa Figuerora (Peter) and Caitlin Kerns; his sister Mary Vierra (Les); and his pet Midge.
