He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hegan and Margaret Hegan (Bohr); his sister Shirley Schelfo; and his son Shawn Hegan. He is survived by: his significant other Matzi Kerrinnes; his children, Cathy Wilhm (Jerry), David Hegan, Paul Hegan (Vikki) and Nancy Love (Brian); his grandchildren, Elyse Moore, Dana Wilhm, Erin Hegan, Andy Hegan, Francisco and Benjamin Love; his great grandchildren, Logan and Makayla Moore; and his brother John Hegan.
