He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wheeler and Winnifred Wheeler; his wife Jeanette; his siblings, Nancy Meyer, Christine Blair, Mary Lyman and Bruce Wheeler; and his son-in-law Mike Forney.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Wheeler of Lawrenceville, GA, Lorraine Veal (Ricky) of Hereford, AZ, John Wheeler (Angie) of Summerdale, AL, Sharon Forney of Gainesville, GA, Gail Jones (Lamar) of Flowery Branch, GA and Jean Thomas (Jeff) of Ellijay, GA; and his siblings, Roy, James, Betty Whitehouse and Lois Bolduc. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
