He was predeceased by: his sister Lori Esquivel; and his great grandchild Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his daughters, Tina of Florence and Cheeky of Florence; his siblings, Adolfo "Harpo" Celaya and Linda Borquez; and also, John Joe and Manny Joe. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild.
