She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Steele and Donna Rich Steele; her husbands, Wayne Uhl and John Van Houten; her son Gary Uhl; and her stepson John Van Houten II.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Oberhardt (Bob); her siblings, Curtis Steele (Beth), Elaine N. Dian and Nelson Nichols (Linda); her stepsons, Jerry Van Houten (Dee Anne) and Jim Van Houten (JeanneKay); and her stepdaughter-in-law Donna Van Houten. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, beloved nieces, nephews, & cousins.
