She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Coffin-Shanks and Jean Coffin-Shanks; her siblings, Don Shanks and Avis Bennett; her son James Louis Thompson; and her grandson Chad Henscheid.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharron Thompson and Nancy Newberry-Lippman (Glenn); her grandsons, Richard Murphy, Karl Obergh (Di An), Jacob Dynomite (Eisley), Michael Brenden Newberry, Ian Thompson and Sean Thompson; her great grandchildren, Matthew Murphy, Kaya Newberry, Danielle Obergh, James Obergh, Sage Murphy, Leo Thompson and Bam Bam Dynomite; and her great great grandchild Brenden Owen Orr.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lozano Funeral Home (2545 N Fourth St, Flagstaff, AZ 86004).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Grand Canyon Chapter #4, Order of the Eastern Star, a cause that was close to Mina's heart.
