As we bid Marilyn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Marilyn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her husband Sheriff Joe Richards; and her daughters, Roxie, Julie, Dorie and Elicia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn's name can be made to Quilts for Kids for Flagstaff Medical Center, which provides quilts for children staying at the hospital.
