Charlotte spent her retire-ment devoted to her ministry as a volunteer at the Trinity Heights United Methodist Church where she was described as, "one of the Lord's best 'good and faithful servants.' She became a member of the church on May 19, 1996. She was a team member of the Trinity Heights Trekkers climbing the mountain in of honor of and in memory of those struggling with cancer. She helped in and served food in the Food Kitchen/Pantry. Charlotte has helped to coordinate potlucks, do-nations, Vacation Bible Schools. She worked in the office, with the Pioneer Club with the church's youth. Charlotte enjoyed traveling in her retirement visiting most of the continental United States, Mexico, Europe, among other exciting locales. She also enjoyed her nights in at home, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, and reading. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Romero Garduno, and her son, Manuel John Garduno and her sisters Cruz, Angie, Connie and her brother George. Charlotte is survived by her sister Nico and brother Johnny, her sons Edward Garduno and Ralph Garduno and her adopted family of daughters and sons, Nancy Sweeter, Jodi Garduno, Laura Garduno, Celeste Ruminski Daron, and Alan Woelhart, as well as her grandchil-dren David Garduno, Annmarie Barton, Eric Henninger, and Sean Henninger. The family wishes in lieu of flowers, please donate to Hospice Compassus of Flagstaff Arizona or the American Cancer Society. Charlotte's memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 13th, at The Trinity Heights United Methodist Church on 3600 N. Fourth Street, with a viewing at 10:00AM and the Service at 11:00AM, followed by a burial service at Citizen's Cem-etery at 1300 S. San Francisco Street.
