He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Serapio Tafoya and Zenaida Tafoya; his spouse Malia; and his sons, Art (Frances), Mike Tafoya, Herman (Candie), Steve and Tim Cordova. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
Malia was diagnosed and lived with Parkinson's disease for 42 years and Arturo was by her side, loving and caring for her until her passing in 2015.
