With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Mortenson of Elfrida, Arizona, who passed away on January 26, 2021 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosealee Lois Dees and Joseph Own Mortenson; and his sister-in-law Gayle Mortenson. He is survived by: his brothers, Owen Wayne Mortenson (Sue), Dale Mortenson (Marial), Paul Mortenson (Patricia) and Myrl Mortenson; and his children, Megan Moore (Jason), Bridgette Salyer (Josiah), Owen Mortenson (Cynthia) and Courtney Mortenson. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren.

Such a likeable guy once he came out of his shell. He was funny and had a good heart - he had a way of making you laugh. So many of our friends/classmates and family have gone before us. Tell everyone hi for me up in heaven. Put your cowboy hat on and go find some steers to round up,”
