He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Hill and Rilda Hill; his children, Clint (Ana Hill), Shawn (Julie Hill), Derilyn (Joe) and Mari Hill; his siblings, Frances, Rilda Jane, Bessie, Ella Mae, Charles, William and Martha Jane; and his children-in-law, Bonnie Hill and Joe Acosta. He was also cherished by grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
