She was predeceased by: her husband Santos M. Leon; her sons, Daniel Leon Sr. and Ricardo Leon; her grandsons, Leonardo Leon and Daniel Leon, Jr.; her parents, Santos Friend and Fred; and her brother Fred Friend.
She is survived by: her children, David Leon and Diana Leon Serafin (David); her grandchildren, Francisco Leon, Ariana Leon Sarafin, Leonardo Leon Serafin, Angel Acosta, David Serafin, Jr. (Taylor), Naydine Serafin, Yvette Galaviz (Christian) and Daniel Serafin (Elena); and her siblings, Abraham Friend (Aucensia), Reynaldo Friend, Rene Friend (Margaret), Rudy Friend (Francis), Reyes "Chapo" Friend (Maria) and Katalina Sanchez (Felipe). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
