With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruben J. Leyva (Douglas, Arizona), who passed away on August 25, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Leyva and Alicia Leyva; and his brother Mike Leyva. He is survived by: his children, Ruben J. Leyva Jr. (Erica), Irma Mason and Mary Sabin (George); his grandchildren, Ted Leyva (Rebecca), Jenise Figueroa (Nick), Laci Leyva, Aiden Leyva, Ethan Leyva of Travis John, Mason (Dazzlyn), Tyler Mason, Cynthia N. Amezquita and Eric M. Sabin; his great grandchildren, Emma Leyva, Camila Nicole Figueroa and Penelope Dulce Figueroa; and his sisters, Alicia Ceballos, Estella McNatt (Mike) and Francis Estrada. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
