He is survived by: his wife Marina Lamadrid Montaño; his children, José Alfonso (Grace Montaño), Martin (Maria Montaño), Tim (Sonia Barcelo), James (Sylvia Onezine), Alberto (Claudia Perez) and Victor (Nicole Montaño); and his siblings, Demetrio Montaño, Octavio Montano, Sylvia Fimbres and Maria Engracia Trujillo. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
