“I just learned that Ellen had passed and I am deeply sorry to hear it. I met her several years ago when she was still living in Creston. She advertised an old desk for sale that I bought for my daughter. My daughter and I ended up chatting with her for over an hour and she talked us into buying an old chest refrigerator. She said she was moving to AZ and asked my daughter to be her pen pal. My daughter had no idea what that even was LOL. But she agreed and they wrote back and forth for yrs.”
