She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Brooke Joy Johnson and Kathleen Margaret Hall Johnson; her husband Bob Gates (Known); her grandchildren, Isabella, Brandon and Dillon; her son Dustin Kurtley (Ana) of California; and her brothers, Brooke Johnson (Terri) of California, Bruce Johnson (Debbye) of Washington and Craig Johnson (Kimber) of California. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, and three grandchildren.
