He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Watkins and Edna Watkins; his former wife Dody Ann Crabtree; and his stepson James Patton. He is survived by: his wife Naomi Jeanette Patton; and his daughters, Shanna and Susan. He is also survived by his twenty-three grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
