The memory of Daniel Hardy Stephens (Cottonwood, Arizona), who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Daniel Hardy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Venita Stephens and Eugene Stephens. He is survived by: his siblings, Ruby Tippets and Archie Stephens; his daughters, Heather Switzer and Nicole Barrier; his sons-in-law, Dan Switzer and Chris Barrier; and his grandsons, Trenton and Brayden.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Journey Church (750 E Mingus Ave, Cottonwood, AZ 86326).

“I had the privilege of knowing Danny as a fellow student in Duncan, then as a colleague teacher (also at Duncan), and lastly as a roommate at Western New Mexico University when both of us were doing graduate work to become administrators. Although we lost close touch with each other after 1977, I will forever remember Danny as one of the most sincere and genuine spiritual persons who have touched my life.
