He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Wyhe; his sister Connie Van Wyhe; and his brother-in-law Bill Top. He is survived by: his sister Judy Top Helmers (Tim Helmers) of Ashton, IA; his niece Candi Norgaard (Kris); his nephew Kelly Top (Kaitlyn) of Paullina, IA; his stepmother Carol Van Wyhe (Mulder) of Luverne, MN; his stepsiblings, Randy Mulder (Marcia) of Luverne, MN, Tony Mulder (Julie) of Estherville, IA, Pamela Likness (Drew) of Fargo, ND and Melissa Ayers (Mark) of Estherville, IA; and his friends, Joe and Darryl. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
While there he studied and taught early Essene/Nazirene principles and practices, eventually receiving a Doctor of Divinity degree from the Essene Foundation of California.
