He was predeceased by: his parents, Melquiades Luna and Maria Luna; his wife Margarita Nieto Luna; his son Shannon Gabriel Luna; his grandson Tanner Davis; and his siblings, Alfred Luna, Beatrice Herrera, Mike Luna, Conrad Luna, Rose Aguilar (Belia), Christina Martinez, Mary Luna, Gloria Mejia and Lupe Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Demitria (Nikko), Davis (Kevin), Gustabo N. Luna Jr. (K. K.) and Mona Lisa Perez; his grandchildren, Trenton Davis, Troy Davis, Daniella Luna, Dominic Luna, Veronica Medina (Jerry), Cassandra Pacheco and Ernesto Pacheco; and his siblings, Johnny Luna (Rosa), Becky Luna Diaz (Octavio), Adolfo Herrera (Frances), Herminia Romero (Richard) and Jesse Deanda (Sylvia). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, 9 great grandchildren.
