She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Bell and Chester Lee Carter. She is survived by: her granddaughter Kayla; her husband Dale Davis Blakeman; her children, Vesta Blakeman, Sandra Kuykendall, Merry Mikles, Ernie Blakeman, Shane Blakeman and Loretta Blakeman; her stepson Pat Blakeman; and her siblings, Josephine M. Lewis, Anthony L. Carter, Anna L. Smith, Jane Holt and Eugene Carter. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.
