He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Barksdale and Mildred Barksdale; his brother Glen; his wife Kathleen Merkley; his brother Glenn (Kathleen); his children, Jay, Brett, Chris, Chad, Brianna, Mikaelie and Jacquelyn; and his brother Bruce. He was also cherished by his children and grandchildren.
