He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elmer Small and Almo Marie Gunnels Small; his brothers, James Edgar Small and David LeRoy Small; and his grandson Marc.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Sue Stevens, Kelly Louise Ball, Diana Marie Quezada and Brenda Michelle Small; his siblings, Albert and Marie Small; and his granddaughter Melany Lynne Dover. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
