She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore Childs Sr.; her siblings, Ernest Murphy, Lola Machuse, Dicey Lupe and Jeanette Phillips; and her grandson Ramson Haven.
She is survived by: her children, Elton Childs (Coleen), Theodore Childs Jr. (Amber), Pearlita Haven, Evangeline Childs and Theodora Childs; and her goddaughters, Abigail Burnette, Magrita Gregg, Carian Tessay Laura Dehose and Elma Caddo. She is also survived by her 14 Grandchildren, and 38 Great Grandchildren, with many extended family.
