He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Ivins and Lillian Ivins (Hall); his close friend Myrtle Wool Ivins; and his sons, Philbert Ivins Sr., Randy Ivins and Ronnie Ivins.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Thompson (Wallace Sr.) of Cibecue; his children, Michael Ivins, Sr. (Nayda), Myrna Ivins, Sharon Ivins, Wendy Ivins of Cibecue, Erman Ivins (Jessica) of Utah, Daryl Ivins, Paula Ivins of Cibecue, Rolinda Ivins of Phoenix, Rhona Ivins of Cibecue, Cecil Ivins, Jr. (Sheila) of New Mexico, Regina Tessay (Brandon Sr.) of McNary, Leon Ivins (Neva) and Gilbert Ivins (Jolene) of Cibecue; and his goddaughter Tanya Narcisco of Cibecue. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
