He is survived by: his wife Carol Sykes; and his children, LeAnn Schenk, Christine Sykes, Raymond Sykes, Jr., Johnny Sykes, Barry Gossage and Christie Melton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
