He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Cora Rose and Kenton E. Leary; and his brothers, Rodney and Jackie Leary (Jeannette Jenkins Leary). He is survived by: his former wife Jeannette Jenkins; his children, Jim (Dawn Leary) and Donna Leary; his sister Thelma Leary; his wife Sherry Leary; and his children, Sharon (Greg Lopez), Dennis (Sandi Widener), Margot (Brian Gibson), Mel (Lori Widener) and Shay (Shannon Davis). He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
