He was predeceased by: his brothers, Paul, Dick and Bill. He is survived by: his children, Tom (Gail), Dave (Paula), Gail Plaas (Mike), Linda Schultz (Bob), Dennis (Ladonna), Patty Stachulak (Jeff), Chris Murphy (Larry) and Laura Graff (Marc); and his siblings, Jim and Denise. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
