She was predeceased by: her husband Bob; and her son Dennis Hantla. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Hantla, Shawn Hantla Durand and Becky Hantla Holt; and also Bob. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Sylvia Hantla Memorial Scholarship Fund for deserving Rio Salado College students at, http://www.riosalado.edu.
