He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mildred Jones and Garland Jones; his wife Yvonne Hobbs; his children, Melodie Schultz (Dan) and Thad Jones (Shalon); and his grandchildren, Robert Thad Jones II, Damien Jones, Thomas Jones, Samantha Jones and Victoria Jones. He was also cherished by five great grandchildren.
