She is survived by: her siblings, Cheryl Vaughn of Fairview Heights, IL and Larry Vaughn (Mary Jane) of Belleville, IL; and her children, Dr. Bridgitt Mitchell (Ricky) of Colorado Springs, CO, Lona Smith (Calvin) of McAlester, OK, Paul Mitchell, Jr. (Hazel) of Dupo, IL, Craig Mitchell (Keishaa) of St. Louis, MO and Christy Mitchell-Skinner (Tyrone) of Savannah, GA. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
