He was predeceased by: his parents, Ricardo Cantu and Carmen Salinas; his sister Bertha Cantu; his son Moses Cantu Jr.; and his grandson Regan.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Cantu; his children, Raquel, Erica, Nichole, Seleste, George and Anthony; and his brothers, Richard, Reynaldo, Ronnie, Alfred, Daniel, Joe, Hector and Samuel Cantu. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, one great grandson.
