She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Franklin and Cecil Owen (Campbell); her husband Robert "Bob" Benefiel; her brothers, Robert Owen and Dr. Thomas Frederick Owen; her brothers-in-law, Ron Fuel, Richard "Skip" Benefiel and William Heritage; and her nephews, Tim Fuel, John Fuel, Jimmy Owen, Brent Heritage and Robbie Owen.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Skaggs (Steve) of Alexandria, Bruce Benefiel (Luba) of Chandler, ArizonaGrandsons-Nathan Badger (Lisa) of LaPorte, Brandon Badger of Elwood and Ian Baugh (Mandy) of Port Orchard, Washington.; and her granddaughters, Brooke Badger of Elwood, Krystal Benefiel of Alexandria, Katie Rigney (Jessie) of Summitville and Aura Wallace of Alexandria.
