He is survived by: his wife Toni; his sons, Bryan (Constance) of West Linn and David (Jennifer) of Valparaiso; his grandson Justin Higgerson of Wanatah; his son John Melle of Greensburg; his grandsons, Braden and Camden Melle of Greensburg; and his sister Sue Budzielek (Jim) of Hobart, Indiana.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
