It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVonne Ruth Wollum of Chandler, Arizona, born in Masonville, Iowa, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Pierce and Mabel Pierce; her husband Jim Wollum; her daughter Anita Kay; and her brothers, Dean Pierce, Lyle Pierce and Lynn Pierce.
She is survived by: her children, James Eldon Wollum (Joyce) of Mesa, Arizona, Letha Ann Hunt (David) of Waco, Virginia Ruth Alberts of Mesa and Kathryn LaVonne Wilt (Michael) of Gilbert, Arizona; and her siblings, Neal Pierce of Surprise, Gordon Pierce of Queen Creek, Ronald Pierce of Chandler, Michael Pierce of Chandler, Arizona, Leah Cathey of Hayden and Norma June Mangels of Spring Valley, California.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
