He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Allen and Estel Allen; his wife Janet McNeil Allen; his siblings, Leroy Allen (Peggy), Leon Allen (Marcia) and Georgia Corbello; his children, Amber Tidwell (Brad) and Dallas Allen (Tammy); and his stepchildren, Kenneth Compton and Krista Slocum (James). He was also cherished by two grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Greyhound Hall of Fame in his honor is appreciated.
