With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jose D. Fernandez of Chandler, Arizona, born in Gobernador, New Mexico, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jose left this world on December 8, 2024 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Santistevan; his parents, Tony Fernandez and Rosa Fernandez; and his siblings, Caroline Martinez, Edward and Larry Fernandez.
He is survived by: his children, Elaine Morse (Brad), Linda Schemmel (Larry) and Jim Fernandez (Teresa); and his sister Maria Drew (Leon). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery (10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248).
