It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wayne Mercure of Chandler, Arizona, born in Pueblo, Colorado, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mercure and Julia Gould Mercure; his siblings, Barbara Mercure Gribben and Gilbert; his daughter Brenda Mercure Corona; his granddaughter Jessica Corona; his nephew John Gribben; and his niece Kathryn Gribben.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lou Widger of Monte Vista; his daughter Terrie Mercure Pizza (Bhrett); his granddaughters, Carmen Pizza of Marietta Georgia, Alicia Corona of Chandler, AZ, Melissa Corona of Waco, TX and Andrea Corona; his nephew Tom Gribben of Pueblo, CO; and his niece Janet Fischer of Colorado Springs, CO.. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
